About Us

We are a leading healthcare provider in the UK, committed to delivering high-quality patient care and services. Our data engineering team plays a critical role in supporting our clinical and non-clinical systems, ensuring the accurate and efficient flow of data across our organisation.

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team, with a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving the data platform in Microsoft Azure, including the integration of artificial intelligence into the data warehouse and analytics.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have experience in data engineering, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.

The salary for this role is £95,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve the data platform in Microsoft Azure
  • Lead the data engineering team to deliver high-quality results
  • Manage and maintain the data warehouse and analytics systems
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the data
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective data sharing and governance
Requirements
  • Masters level degree in an Informatics related subject or equivalent experience
  • Extensive knowledge of writing SQL and stored procedures
  • Experience in data extract, transfer/translate and load for a large data warehouse
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence systems and reporting tools
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its data management offering
