Job Title: Inflation Technician

Job Purpose:

To carry out technical procedures for overhaul and repair of emergency evacuation equipment, including slides, rafts & cylinder assemblies, using written instructions and technical documents.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure close attention to detail and maintain exceptional working standards in the Aviation industry

* Use tooling and test equipment correctly

* Work within a team environment with good communication skills

* Adhere to health and safety rules and procedures

* Conduct assigned tasks in a controlled and safe manner, paying respect to colleagues and equipment

* Work safely with high pressure gas systems

* Meet set standards and deadlines

* Adhere to company policies and procedures

Essential Requirements:

* Basic mechanical / engineering knowledge

* Ability to use adhesives and sealants, wearing a face mask

* Professional conduct at all times

* Ability to lift safe loads without assistance

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Numeracy and literacy skills

* Reliability

* Flexibility

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out technical procedures for the overhaul and repair of emergency evacuation equipment, including slides, rafts & cylinder assemblies.
