Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a critical data centre in Slough. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on all client assets using our Planned Preventative Maintenance System.
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive records are kept pertaining to Health & Safety, Building Compliance, and Quality Assurance.
  • Administer sub-contractor work approvals and ensure safe operation while repair or service is carried out on site.
  • Remedy plant faults and defects swiftly to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.
  • Ensure suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.
  • Complete comprehensive maintenance records in the form of job sheets.
  • Prepare, review, and utilise Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
  • Manage the shift team and maintain good client relationships.
  • Action and complete assigned tasks as appropriate, including the utilisation of shift engineers to ensure tasks are suitably completed.
  • Undertake annual appraisals of shift engineers and ensure the shift team are suitably skilled and trained.

Requirements:
  • Electrically qualified
  • City & Guilds - Level 2 & 3
  • City & Guilds - 17th or 18th Edition
  • HV / LV Desirable
  • A proven track record in Building Maintenance working
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Multi-Skilled - Mechanical / Electrical
  • Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution / HVAC / HV LV etc
  • Good Leadership & Management skills
