Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced transport planner to join our team in Wigan. As a transport strategist, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining transport plans and strategies that support the council's vision for growth and regeneration.

You will work closely with colleagues across the council, and with TfGM, other transport providers and appointed consultants to advance the borough's transport priorities. Your key responsibility will be to develop and maintain transport plans and strategies that support the council's vision for growth and regeneration.

About the Salary: The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will have the opportunity to work in a modern working environment with a gym and swimming pool on site, as well as a hybrid working approach supported by robust systems and technology.
