Job Title: Critical Path Manager

We are seeking an experienced Critical Path Manager to join our team in Greater Manchester. This is a great opportunity to work with a market-leading textile business that designs and produces textiles for bedrooms and living rooms.

The company takes sustainability seriously, sourcing responsible cotton and removing single-use plastic from the supply chain. They have a strong reputation in the industry with a number of long-service employees.

About the Role:
  1. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and keen eye for detail are required to succeed in this role.
  2. Head up critical path by working and supporting all teams/departments.
  3. Work closely with factories to understand capabilities, capacities, and production lead-times, ensuring timely deliveries.
  4. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production and supply problems efficiently.
  5. Manage, train, and supervise teams effectively.
  6. Decision-Making: Be quick-thinking and make sound decisions based on data.
  7. Be aware that things can change quickly and deadlines need to be met.
  8. Support Senior Management in creating plans and strategies.
About You:
  1. Experience: 2+ years of experience as an Import Merchandiser, Production Merchandiser, or similar.
  2. Experience working with offshore factories.
  3. Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and use it to drive action.
  4. Proactive and organized approach.
  5. Team Player: Flexible team player who doesn't mind 'mucking in' when needed.
  6. Numerate with attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  7. Ability to work to strict deadlines to meet customer requirements.
  8. Professionalism: Professional approach, with the confidence to represent the company.
