Financial Analyst for Renewable Energy Assets

The Green Recruitment Company is partnering with a leading Asset Manager focused on Renewable Energy to find a Portfolio Finance Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and update financial models for renewable energy assets, ensuring accuracy and reliability in forecasting returns.
  2. Conduct thorough risk analysis through sensitivity analysis and stress testing to mitigate potential losses.
  3. Prepare and review quarterly valuation memos to provide stakeholders with up-to-date information on asset performance.
  4. Update debt models based on market changes to reflect current economic conditions.
  5. Calculate and analyze various financial ratios and covenants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Prepare and consolidate budgets for renewable energy projects, ensuring timely completion and optimal resource allocation.
  7. Support the team in monthly reporting to the investment team and quarterly fund reporting to investors, providing insights into portfolio performance.
  8. Assist in reviewing construction budgets and provide potential impact scenarios on model returns, enabling data-driven decision-making.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in renewable energy, project finance, or infrastructure, and proficiency in Italian language is required. Spanish language skills are an added advantage. Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills are essential for this role.

Salary:

We estimate the salary range for this position to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
