Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Work Practice Development Specialist to join our Learning and Development Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the professional development and assessment of newly qualified social workers. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that Support and Assessment Agreement meetings and review meetings take place in a timely manner, involving the Newly Qualified Social Worker's line manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in social work practice and/or experience as a Social Work Practice Educator (PEPS 2) or ASYE assessor
  • Possession of relevant qualifications, such as PEPS 2
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work flexibly from home or from our Stanton House office in Huntingdon
