Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative support to our conveyancing department. The ideal candidate will assist conveyancers with all aspects of residential property transactions, prepare and manage legal documents, and maintain accurate records and files.
Key Responsibilities
Assist conveyancers with residential property transactions
Prepare and manage legal documents, including contracts, forms, and correspondence
Maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and paper based
Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction
Conduct property searches and manage deadlines to ensure timely completions
Handle client enquiries and provide updates on the progress of transactions
Organise meetings, appointments, and coordinate schedules for conveyancers
Requirements
Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in conveyancing
Familiarity with property law and conveyancing processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
