Senior Leadership Opportunity in Print Services

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Print Services Director to lead our Print Services team from the front. This senior role will be responsible for the entire Digital Print operation and client locations, as well as inputting into the Print Management Service and technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and leadership of the Digital Print facility, ensuring all work meets client schedules and quality expectations.
  • Ensuring equipment meets and exceeds industry standards, leading new services and innovation within print manufacturing.
  • Management of key suppliers to the Digital Print facility, mitigating risks and cost exposure.
  • Quality assurance and H&S management of the site.
  • Management of utilisation across the site to maximise GM percentage.

Working with Print Management Services:

  • Ensuring the supply chain is aligned to client requirements and driving change and improvements.
  • Risk and governance across the service to ensure client requirements, SLAs, and contractual agreements are met.
  • Ensuring the technical solution in Print Portal enables the client services team to deliver a first-class service, leading change in features and capability for client development.
  • Working with the client services team to develop the Print Management service, improving cost to serve and managing issues.

Management and Leadership of Strategic Sourcing:

  • Management of the team within the sourcing function.
  • Ensuring the supplier chain is fit for purpose and provides secure and robust print production and services.
  • Working within group policy to ensure onboarding and management of the supply chain meets corporate obligations.
  • Monitoring and managing pricing across core contracts to secure the best market price.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and experienced in change management with Lean experience.
  • Experience of JIT stock management, managing a fast-paced print operation, and managing and building relationships with clients.
  • Proven skills in productivity management, a background in continuous improvement techniques, and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Flexible approach to core working hours.
