At AXIS Capital, we are seeking a talented individual to join our growing Offshore Renewable Energy team as an Underwriter. This exciting opportunity is based in London and offers a comprehensive salary of £65,000 per annum, plus benefits.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing new and renewal business opportunities, building relationships with brokers and clients, and working closely with other members of the team to achieve the targets set out in the business plan. As an Underwriter, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain knowledge of Renewable energy risks from a technical perspective, work within underwriting guidelines to achieve business plan targets, and collaborate with other departments within AXIS to develop products, pricing tools and CAT modelling analysis.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make decisions based on data and analytics. You should also possess good written and oral communication skills, as well as computer skills, including advanced Excel skills. Experience in Renewable Energy underwriting and knowledge of FCA, PRA and/or Lloyd's would be beneficial, but not essential. ACII qualification is also preferred.

This is a permanent full-time position, requiring you to be in the office 3 days per week and occasional international travel.
