Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Specialist Support Nurses and contributing to the development of the Learning Disability/Mental Health Nurse services. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with complex disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Specialist Support Nurses in delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex needs.
- Contribute to the development of the Learning Disability/Mental Health Nurse services, ensuring they meet the needs of service users.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance and improve outcomes for individuals with complex disabilities.
- Manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively, using excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Have a good working knowledge of IT applications and be able to work independently.
- Hold a recognized Learning Disability Nursing/Mental Health Degree Qualification (or equivalent).
- Be a registered member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Demonstrate experiential training and highly specialist skills.
- Have a successful track record of enhancing and improving outcomes for individuals with complex disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
