Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our commercial gas service and maintenance contracts, ensuring that we deliver exceptional results and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues to drive business growth and success.
  3. Oversee and assist the contract coordinators to meet service delivery demands and improve operational efficiency.
  4. Provide timely and efficient responses to queries and issues to maintain high levels of service delivery.
  5. Identify work streams and prioritize workload to ensure completion within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  6. Support the Field Operations manager in managing field teams and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Manage and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and cost savings.
  8. Maintain accurate and effective files and records, including the use of our job management system.
  9. Avoid and apply company escalation processes to resolve complex issues.
  10. Represent the company in client meetings and presentations to promote our services and expertise.
  11. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for business growth and development.
  12. Create quotations based on site surveys and information provided by engineers to ensure accurate pricing and project scope.
  13. Capture all revenue streams available to maximize business potential.
  14. Assist with day-to-day running of gas servicing and heating departments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality services.
  15. Analyze data and identify solutions to technical problems and communication issues with staff and clients.
  16. Investigate incidents, notices, concerns, and queries to provide prompt and effective resolutions.
  17. Provide information and support to engineers and clients through clear and concise communication.
  18. Maintain contract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and quality standards by installing efficiently and safely with a high-quality finish.
  19. Deliver a high-quality service to clients and their customers, demonstrating respect and professionalism at all times.

Requirements:

  1. 5 years of industry experience, with 2 years of experience at a management level.
  2. Experience working in the Social Housing sector on commercial gas/renewable maintenance contracts.
  3. Supervising others and developing their skills and knowledge.
  4. Working directly with residents and clients to deliver excellent customer service.
  5. Holding a clean UK driving license and undergoing a DBS check.
  6. Experience in contract tendering, mobilization, and delivery.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft software and other relevant tools.
  9. Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and use initiative.
  10. General competence in the given trade, COCN1, CODNCO1, TCP1a.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £60,000 per annum, plus benefits including additional annual leave after completing 2 years' service, on-site free parking, performance-related bonus, private healthcare, and health and wellbeing support.
