About the Role

The Electoral Commission is seeking a highly skilled HR Systems and People Data Analyst to join their team. This exciting opportunity will involve ensuring the effective use of HR systems and data to inform decision-making at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist HR in data analysis, report writing, and troubleshooting
  • Develop and test new functionalities in HR systems
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding HR system issues
  • Manage HR system security and ensure compliance with GDPR requirements
  • Provide first and second-line support for system issues
  • Offer advice, guidance, and training on HR systems to users
  • Manage relationships with software suppliers
  • Lead HR system upgrades, development, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with ICT and Finance to align HR systems with overall strategy
  • Provide expertise in HR reporting and data analysis
Requirements
  • Experience with HR systems, especially iTrent
  • Proficient in data analysis with advanced Excel skills
  • Experienced in using reporting tools like Business Objects and PowerBI
  • Strong understanding and practical application of Data Protection and GDPR in HR
  • Solutions-oriented, organised, and methodical in project management
  • Committed to continuous improvement, working autonomously with accountability
