Job Title: Pump Training and Design Manager

Location: Office-based position with regular travel required to project locations and client premises.

Contract: Full-time

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pump Training and Design Manager to join our team at Newton Waterproofing Systems. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical support, designing pumping solutions, and developing strong relationships with our network of approved installers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support on pumping-related enquiries, both on-site and from the head office.
  2. Design clean water, foul water, and grey water pumping solutions for civil, commercial, and civil applications.
  3. Diagnose pump and battery-back-up system faults to a successful conclusion.
  4. Work with our in-house basement waterproofing design team to provide take-off and design advice.
  5. Develop and deliver training programs for our network of approved installers.
  6. Proactively market our range of below-ground pumping solutions through specification and distribution networks.
  7. Act as the company's focal point for pumping design and installation, developing strong relationships with our network of approved installers.
  8. Develop the range of pumping systems to support our products and services.

Requirements:

  • Competent in on-site electrical works.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in diagnosing and resolving technical faults.
  • Confident and experienced in delivering classroom training and technical seminars.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Hold a City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in requirements for Electrical Installations to BS 7671 Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition.
  • Experience in the installation of sump and pump systems in commercial and domestic structures.
