Experienced Graduate Civil Engineer Wanted

Location: Cardiff

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £33,000 + benefits

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Civil Engineer to join a growing team in Cardiff and contribute to a variety of exciting projects across highways, infrastructure, and drainage works.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design & Analysis: Develop designs of infrastructure/highways related projects using advanced software tools.
  2. Project Management: Oversee projects from initial concept through to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.
  3. Technical Excellence: Perform design analysis and provide technical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  5. Site Inspections: Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  2. An understanding of Civils 3D and Microdrainage would be beneficial.
  3. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to provide innovative and practical solutions to engineering problems.
  4. Driving License: A full UK driving license is preferred, as site visits will be part of the role.
