Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Support Assistant to join our team at Master Class Education. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities in their educational and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual support to students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to facilitate their learning and development.
  • Assist students with tasks, assignments, and activities tailored to their specific needs, ensuring they understand the material.
  • Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviour and promote positive interactions among students.
  • Support students in developing communication skills, using appropriate tools and techniques as necessary.
  • Monitor and record students' progress, sharing insights with teachers and parents to inform individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure the well-being and progress of the student.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of special educational needs and disabilities, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure the well-being and progress of the student.
