About the Role

You will play a pivotal part in shaping our strategic initiatives and ensuring effective governance practices. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic projects, analyse performance metrics, and enhance our governance framework.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:

  • Business writing skills
  • Project management experience

This role requires a deep understanding of risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology. You will also need job-specific technical skills.

About the Team

This role will be based at one of our offices in Glasgow or London.

The ideal candidate will be able to navigate complex challenges, make informed decisions, and deliver against strategic objectives. They will provide strategic support to senior executives, including assistance in the development and execution of business strategy, research, and analysis to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing key projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of senior executives, ensuring strategic projects are on track, monitoring progress, and providing regular updates to the executive team.

You will also improve operational efficiency within the organisation, identifying areas for improvement, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity and effectiveness.

You will develop performance reporting for key metrics that reinforce the strategic objectives of the division and support external commitments. You will analyse and draw insight to drive performance, including aspects of financial analysis and budget management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
