Job Overview
DK Recruitment is partnering with a leading global Medical Manufacturer to find an experienced PLC Controls Engineer Technician. Located in Plymouth, this role offers the opportunity to join a successful team and contribute to the company's growth.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and at least 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer / Technician or similar field. They should possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in working with various production equipment, and be able to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.

This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. The salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a matched contribution pension scheme up to 10% of salary, life assurance, private medical insurance, and a reward and recognition scheme linked to health and safety and continuous improvement.

The responsibilities of this position include implementing improvements to TPM processes, providing support for setting up and maintaining pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, reading electrical drawings, analysing, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance and repairs of plant electrical systems, and ensuring all safety and environmental procedures and quality system requirements are maintained. The successful candidate will also participate in the design and installation of modifications to production machinery and equipment, provide leadership and mentoring, and attend Production Analysis Board meetings.

Your Skills and Qualifications
