Maintenance Technician

Lammas House Residential Care Home, Coventry, West Midlands

£13.01 per hour

20 hours available

Sanctuary Care has over 100 care homes, and our team at Lammas House is special. We're looking for someone to join us as a Maintenance Technician.

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff. You'll be responsible for regular health and safety checks, maintaining the home's presentation, and communicating effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.

Key Skills:

  • Collaboration is key to creating a positive environment for residents and staff.
  • Practical skills in recognizing and performing minor repairs are essential, including basic plumbing skills and DIY experience.
  • Familiarity with health and safety protocols and Legionella disease is beneficial.
  • A valid driver's license and access to personal transportation are necessary requirements.
  • You'll use an iPad and/or laptop for daily tasks and compliance applications.
