Fishtek Consulting Ltd, part of RSK Group, is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Specialist to join their team in Devon. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and constructing fish and eel passes to overcome river obstructions, such as dams and weirs, and making a positive impact on the environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree and have recent industry experience within the water/hydraulic engineering sector. They will also be a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and/or Institution of Structural Engineers, or have commensurate relevant civil engineering experience.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Project Management
  • Contract Management
  • Supervision of Junior Engineers
  • Preparation of quotations
  • Client liaison
  • Provision of technical advice
  • Engineering calculations and analysis, including structural, hydraulic, and soil mechanics
  • Preparation of design drawings

The successful candidate will be offered a salary commensurate with experience, flexible working arrangements, and flexible benefits.
