Job Summary:

The Invictus Recruitment team is seeking a highly skilled Resident Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team at a retail site in Stratford, East London. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive repairs to various plant equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of the site's mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks on plant equipment, including generators, heat pumps, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, plumbing, fans, belts, and filters.
  • Assist other trades as directed by the operations supervisor, providing general multi-skilled building services maintenance support on all buildings and plant.
  • Implement all maintenance and corrective works on the site in accordance with Maintenance Instructions, company, and site-specific procedures.
  • Perform testing and inspecting of mechanical systems in accordance with industry standards, providing accurate feedback and information.
  • Ensure that all plant and systems are maintained and operated to provide maximum efficiency, availability, and reliability.
  • Carry out remedial and/or refurbishment works arising from breakdown or maintenance inspections.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Maintenance Engineering, Multi Trades, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience working within building services, maintaining multi-trade systems.
  • Well-presented with good interpersonal skills, as this is a client-facing role.
