HVAC Supervisor Job Description

Our client, a leading facilities management and maintenance contractor in the UK, is seeking a skilled HVAC Supervisor to join their team. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to the company's Health and Safety policy and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Ensure clients' operational procedures are followed at all times.
  • Obtain necessary authorizations for access to restricted areas.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance on engineering services.
  • Procure materials and equipment as required.
  • Organize and supervise subcontractors as needed.
  • Complete worksheets for works undertaken and obtain client authorization.
  • Advise clients of minor additional works and compile estimates.

Requirements:

  • Air Conditioning Qualification (Level 3) and F-gas certification.
  • Experience in a recognized trade training scheme.
  • Ability to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification.
  • Excellent customer care and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and without direct supervision.
  • Capacity to conduct surveys and deal directly with customers.
  • IT proficiency in Excel and CAFM systems.
