Job Title: Data Scientist - Football Game Analytics

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Oxford and contribute to the success of our football games on mobile platforms.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain complex data queries and visualizations to monitor key game metrics.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify areas of game performance variability and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Design and execute split testing experiments to optimize game experience.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Product and Data Science to develop and implement data governance, BI tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data querying and extraction using SQL and Python.
  • Excellent data modeling skills with a deep understanding of statistical and visualization techniques.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex problems.
  • Passion for football and experience with free-to-play mobile games.
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
