Principal Planner Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Planner to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team in Buckinghamshire. As a key member of our planning team, you will play a crucial role in securing planning consents for clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on planning applications and appeals, ensuring compliance with planning regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop effective planning strategies.
  • Work closely with our design team to ensure seamless integration of planning and design expertise.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in planning legislation and policies, ensuring our team's expertise remains at the forefront.

Requirements:

  • MRTPI chartered (or eligible) with a strong knowledge of planning regulations and policies.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Private sector experience preferred, but public sector candidates are also encouraged to apply.
