About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Courtesy Clerk at Vallarta Supermarkets. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with locating products, answering questions, and providing product information.
  • Collect shopping carts, collect debris from carts, and return them to designated areas while adhering to company safety guidelines.
  • Bag groceries, return unwanted merchandise to its location, and accurately verify prices.
  • Conduct store sweep inspections, according to company policy and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must enjoy working with the public and have good communication skills.
  • Must have a friendly, courteous attitude and provide extraordinary customer service.
  • Must exhibit a responsible, professional, and positive attitude towards the job, co-workers, and customers.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to transfer to other locations within a reasonable commute of home store.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.
  • No experience necessary; willingness to learn and provide training.
  • Basic understanding of English language.
