We are seeking an experienced Lifting Supervisor to join our team at Churchill Living Ltd.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient lifting and movement of materials on our construction sites.
This is a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including a Group Personal Pension Plan and Life Assurance.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the lifting and movement of materials on site
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies
- Examine equipment before use to ensure safety and technical specifications
- Communicate effectively with site colleagues and notify the Site Manager of any faults
- Provide clear and correct signals to the Crane Driver and other site colleagues
We are looking for a personable and team-oriented individual with previous experience as a Banksman / Slinger / Lifting Supervisor.
You will need to have in-depth knowledge of the HSE Act 1974, Construction (lifting operations) Regulations of 1961, and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998.
Good communication skills and a high standard of spoken English are essential.
