Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at our Bellshill Dairy site. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating manufacturing machinery to produce high-quality products. You will work closely with our team to ensure efficient production processes and maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate manufacturing machinery and follow established processes to ensure high-quality products
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any issues to the maintenance team
- Contribute to quality control inspections to ensure customer expectations are met
- Replenish materials as needed and participate in inventory management
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational excellence objectives
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing production plans
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg)
