We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Professional to join our team in Dorset.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be working as a full-time, term-time only SEN Teaching Assistant with our client school. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with special educational needs.

Salary Information

We are offering a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with SEN. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting students with their academic and personal development
  • Supporting teachers in the classroom
  • Developing and implementing personalized learning plans

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the school's SEN provision and participate in training and professional development programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in education or a related field (e.g., degree in Special Educational Needs)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
