The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced LGV driver to join our Transport Team. As an LGV driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting animal feed products safely, efficiently, and effectively. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the timely delivery of products to our customers, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate LGV vehicles for the delivery and collection of animal feed products
- Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of products, adhering to all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice
- Provide exceptional customer service, promoting the company brand and identifying customer needs
- Adhere to daily tasks and routines, ensuring timely completion and flexibility to meet fleet needs
- Contribute to the company's fuel efficiency standards by adopting a proactive approach to driving style and performance
Requirements
- LGV Licence (Class 1 desirable)
- Driver CPC
- Flexible approach to work, including delivering bulk feed when required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships
- Ability to work independently using own initiative
