About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at CATS Global Schools. As a key member of our Operations Department, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our maintenance team and school estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a facility management program, including preventative maintenance and life cycle requirements.
  • Conduct and document regular facilities inspections.
  • Line manage all maintenance and caretaking staff, including holiday/sickness management processes, performance management, development, and training.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff.
  • Manage and participate in the On-Call Rota to ensure 24/7 Site Maintenance cover.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment, allocating Sysaid works accordingly.
  • Assure security of the school campus, including unlocking/locking up, and ensure timely response to facility and equipment alarms and system failures.
  • Report and action any deliberate misuse and/or damage of the facilities and cost repairs according to damage reporting process.
  • Plan and manage facility central services, including security, waste disposal, grounds, maintenance, and catering department equipment maintenance schedules.
Requirements
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience in construction, maintenance, and all facets of building operations.
  • Facilities Management experience.
