At Meridian Business Support, we are seeking a skilled Financial Account Manager to join our team based in Stafford. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilising exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to debt management.

About the Role
  • Maintaining composure under pressure while meticulously managing accounts.
  • Pursuing outstanding debts through various channels, including phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • A proactive approach to debt collection is essential to optimise cash flows and meet company targets.

This position involves enthusiasm for learning about liquidation and insolvency procedures, preparing pre-legal documentation, and initiating County Court applications when necessary. The ideal candidate will seamlessly collaborate within an established team, demonstrate self-motivation, and possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in credit control.

Key Requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills and a polished telephone manner.
  • Demonstrable experience in a credit control environment, interacting with customers.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn software tools like Microsoft Office, Excel, Sage, Vantage, and Credit Safe (training will be provided).
Working Details
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm with flexible working hours.
  • Type: Permanent, Full-time.
Experience Required

Preferred: 2 years of experience in credit control.
