Special Educational Needs Teacher

A SEN teacher is required for a special educational needs school in North London for secondary school students aged 11-19.
The successful candidate will work with KS3 students with severe learning difficulties (SLD) working at pre-KS1 level.
As a SEN teacher, you will become part of a highly supportive team with exceptional senior leadership and fantastic resources.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lesson planning and delivery for students with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs.
- Helping students to develop confidence and independence.
- Working with specialist teaching services, medical staff, counsellors, and psychologists.
- Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
To be successful, you will need:
- The right to work in the UK.
- Early Career Teacher (ECT) with relevant experience will be considered.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas trained teacher awaiting QTS.
- A clear and up-to-date DBS.
- Experience working with young people with ASD.
