Technical Draftsman

**Job Summary**
Matchtech is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our client's dynamic team in the Highways sector. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D schematic drawings for highway construction projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop 2D AutoCAD designs for highway projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Create supporting design plans, including contour plans, cut & fill plans, setting out information, cross sections, etc.
- Participate in feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design work, and deliver 2D design information as required.
**Requirements:**
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other Autodesk software.
- Experience in highway design, with a strong understanding of design principles and regulations.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
