About the Role

We are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team at Sir William Stanier School in Crewe. As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for serving food and beverages to students, maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and food prep areas, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve a range of food and beverages to students in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Contribute to the general cleaning of the kitchen and food prep areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Prepare food to a high standard, following recipes and guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the outlet
  • Ensure the front and back of house areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Stock counters and ensure serveries are clean and presentable
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and colleagues alike

Requirements

  • Full training will be provided to the right candidate
  • Security clearance check is required for this role
  • Previous catering experience is desirable, but not essential
