We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Belgrave Medical Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing team.
Main Responsibilities:- Initiate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and referrals through autonomous and accountable decisions in nursing practice.
- Develop and maintain policies within the practice for clinical areas and oversee the development of policies written by practice nurses.
- Provide leadership and advice to the nurse practitioner, practice nurses, and healthcare assistant to develop and maintain their clinical skills.
- Contribute to the development of the practice and nursing team.
- Autonomous practitioner working independently and in conjunction with other healthcare professionals.
- Health Assessment Qualification (independent prescriber).
- Knowledge and understanding of primary and community health care.
- Ability to contribute to the development of the practice and nursing team.
