Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Belgrave Medical Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Initiate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and referrals through autonomous and accountable decisions in nursing practice.
  • Develop and maintain policies within the practice for clinical areas and oversee the development of policies written by practice nurses.
  • Provide leadership and advice to the nurse practitioner, practice nurses, and healthcare assistant to develop and maintain their clinical skills.
  • Contribute to the development of the practice and nursing team.
Requirements:
  • Autonomous practitioner working independently and in conjunction with other healthcare professionals.
  • Health Assessment Qualification (independent prescriber).
  • Knowledge and understanding of primary and community health care.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of the practice and nursing team.
