SLD Pumps & Power, a leading supplier of pumps and generator rental equipment in the UK, seeks a skilled Mechanical Equipment Technician to join our team in Carlisle. With 13 strategically located depots across the country, we provide top-notch service 24/7 throughout the year.

Salary
A competitive base salary of £35,000 per annum, plus additional call-out pay for weekend and overtime work, makes this an attractive opportunity for experienced mechanical engineers.

Job Description
We are looking for a talented individual with previous mechanical experience to service and repair our equipment at the depot or on customer sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for equipment maintenance and repairs, including assisting with servicing plant equipment, carrying out major repairs, and refurbishing end-of-life equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous mechanical experience or completed apprenticeship in the mechanical field
- NVQ3 or suitable Apprenticeship
- Knowledge of diesel engines
- Good working knowledge of EHSQ (Environmental Health and Safety Quality)
- Time Management skills
- A valid UK driving license
