We are seeking a talented Graduate Geo Environmental Engineer to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a Graduate Geo Environmental Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects, developing your skills and expertise in the field of geo-environmental engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in geology, engineering geology, environmental science, or a related subject, and will be familiar with Geographic Information Systems (GIS). You will also have excellent analytical, written, communication, and presentation skills, and be committed to studying towards professional qualification.

As a Graduate Geo Environmental Engineer at Tetra Tech, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including contaminated land, site investigation, and brownfield redevelopment. You will assist with the design, procurement, supervision, and management of geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations, and will undertake desk top study assessments, accurate collection and analysis of site data, and produce detailed reports.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the design, procurement, supervision, and management of geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations.
  • Undertaking desk top study assessments.
  • Accurate collection and analysis of site data.
  • Producing detailed reports.
  • Undertaking ground gas & groundwater monitoring works and assessment.

Key qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in geology, engineering geology, environmental science, or related subject.
  • Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
  • Excellent analytical, written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Commitment to studying towards professional qualification.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
