About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at Carbon60. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of mechanical services on a major new build hospital project in Cornwall.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the project management team to deliver the mechanical services installation on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the self-delivery and subcontract mechanical services packages.
  • Ensure that all installations are completed to the highest standard, according to the specification, engineering drawings, and programme of works.
  • Manage a team of up to 20 pipe fitters/commercial plumbers installing heating and plumbing services.

About You:

We are looking for a time-served pipe fitter/commercial plumber with experience of working at supervisory level. You will need to have demonstrable experience of supervising high-value commercial plumbing and heating installations, ideally within a live hospital environment.

Requirements:

  • Supervisor level JIB Card with SSSTS or SMSTS.
  • DBS and BPPS clearance (arranged by the client).
  • SC Clearance (obtained by the client).

What We Offer:

In return for your experience, you will receive a competitive hourly rate between £22.82 PAYE and £30.00 CIS per hour.
