About the Role

We are seeking a talented Aerospace & Defence Business Development Manager to be a proactive champion of our mission, technology, and capability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international aerospace and defence stakeholders, and will utilise their network and contacts to build consortiums where relevant, for the strategic interests of Lodestar and our missions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Bid Writing: Find, select, and build winning bids for both grants and contracts.
  2. Commercial Development: Maintain a CRM and keep high frequency contact with industry and governments to test our technology against.
  3. Industry Collaboration: Utilise your network and contacts to partner Lodestar with strategic companies to reach our goals.
  4. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to business and commercial pitfalls we're likely to face.

Qualifications

  • Excellent writing and technical communications skills.
  • Proactivity in finding new business growth opportunities.
  • Proven experience of winning non-dilutive funding or commercial contracts.
