The Role

As a Director of Scientific Affairs at Prime, you will be responsible for providing expert scientific guidance and communication support to existing accounts. Your key objectives will include supporting new business development and fostering organic growth by identifying service or product gaps in existing client relationships.

You will lead the provision of scientific input with clients and accounts. Collaborate with the team to ensure client communication strategies are understood and executed by editorial/scientific and account teams.

Develop and implement account strategies and plans. Attend workshops and support delivery of meetings, including meeting facilitation when required.

Requirements
  • 6 years of experience in increasingly senior roles within the healthcare agency sector
  • A broad range of experience across:

– types of projects

– therapeutic areas

– types of clients (geographical and healthcare market mix)

  • Strong appreciation of both Prime's and clients' business needs and resourcefulness in finding solutions to their challenges
  • Well-developed personal and written communication skills
  • Proven interest in science, strategy, and lifecycle management
  • Experience in strategic planning
  • Experience in developing and presenting new business proposals/pitches
  • Experience working with extended teams across professional, operational, and cultural boundaries
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently to tight deadlines
  • Comfortable presenting to clients with good presentation skills
