The Acute Services department serves the community of Kent, providing assessment and treatment for adults suffering from acute mental illnesses. This is a challenging yet rewarding environment that requires excellent organisation skills and the ability to use initiative.
As a Registered Nurse, you will work effectively within an experienced and knowledgeable nursing and medical team to deliver high-quality patient care. You will be experienced in practice or able to join our preceptorship programme, which includes dedicated Preceptorship leads and online resources.
Main Duties of the Job
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, taking into account relevant mental, physical, social, cultural, psychological, spiritual, and environmental factors, in partnership with the patient and others.
- Work collaboratively with other disciplines, patients, and their carers to agree a holistic person-centred care plan that addresses the needs identified through assessment.
- Deliver and evaluate safe, competent patient-centred care in partnership with the service user and their carers to support recovery.
