Your Future ChallengeThis exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team.
You will report directly to the Mechanical Manager and be responsible for managing and developing your area within budget constraints, policies, and overall objectives of the Mill.
- Develop and review technical content for engineering standards.
- Perform criticality analysis, failure analysis, and maintenance strategies.
- Identify investments and major repairs based on CA, FA, and MS.
- Support spare part requirements and manage obsolescence.
- Participate in root cause analysis problem-solving.
- Promote engineering workflows.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- An HNC level education (or equivalent) in a technical discipline.
- A recognized Engineering Apprenticeship.
- Excellent knowledge and competence in maintenance engineering.
- Understanding of failure analysis and maintenance strategy.
- Good knowledge of plant processes and equipment.
