Job Title: Electronics Engineer - Technical Support

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to customers, supporting the development of custom product solutions, and ensuring the smooth and timely transfer of completed projects to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical lead for established product and new product introduction.
  • Undertake design, development, research, and selection of electronic components and circuits for protecting low voltage DC power solutions.
  • Support the technical development of custom product solutions within the technical team.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance for electrical applications.
  • Formulate technical aspects of BOMs and assist with development and approval of production assembly instructions.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other internal departments as required.
  • Assist with authoring product specifications and instructions, as well as after-sales support services.
  • Manage the preparation of technical reports in support of projects and other departments as required.
  • Represent the technical team at customer meetings and gain approvals and certification of new products.
  • Develop and undertake product tests and records as required, and identify health and safety or environmental concerns.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and proactive individual, willing to learn and work autonomously and as part of a team. They will have proven analytical skills, the ability to analyze and troubleshoot anomalies in electronic behavior or interfaces with host equipment, and understand battery communication protocols, interpretation, and programming.
