About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Housekeeping to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our care home management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a warm and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of housekeeping staff to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our care home facilities
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care and support services
  • Monitor and report on cleaning standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Recruit, train, and develop housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively
About You

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual who has a proven track record of delivering high-quality housekeeping services in a care home or similar environment. You will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team to achieve high standards. You will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
