Maintenance Operative Job Description

W P Recruitment & HR Ltd is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment and have prior experience in construction, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for attending to a variety of maintenance tasks, including filling potholes, basic tarmacking, and repairing and replacing street furniture. They will also perform general labouring and manual handling duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Filling potholes and performing basic tarmacking tasks.
  • Repairing and replacing street furniture.
  • General labouring and manual handling duties.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality and health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in construction is essential.
  • You must be physically fit to carry out the duties.
  • A full driver's licence is required.
  • You should be able to work well as part of a team.

Compensation:

  • An estimated hourly rate of £11.44.
  • Overtime paid at time and a half.
