Charity People is partnering with The Passage to find a skilled Community Fundraising Specialist to help shape and execute their Community Fundraising strategy. This role will focus on engaging existing and new supporters, building a stable income pipeline, and driving the charity's mission forward.

About the role

The successful candidate will oversee the stewardship of passionate supporters, working closely with dedicated volunteers and community groups. They will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising initiatives, managing events, and building relationships with key stakeholders.

About the organisation

The Passage is a London-based charity providing vital support to homeless people. Their vision is of a society where street homelessness no longer exists, and everyone has a place to call home. In the past year, they supported over 2000 people experiencing or at risk of homelessness and prevented nearly 900 people from becoming homeless through their services.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement community fundraising strategies to engage existing and new supporters
  • Manage events and activities to raise awareness and funds for the charity
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including volunteers and community groups
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising initiatives
