Corporate Banking Officer

Prestigious International Bank based in the City of London, is seeking a Business Support Officer to join their growing Corporate Banking Department.

The successful candidate will support departmental teams in operational and administrative matters relating to the onboarding of target clients, including KYC and systems, regulatory and internal reporting requirements, market research, data analysis, etc. You'll also assist in the development and promotion of the corporate banking business, which may include digital channels, account management, payments and collections, liquidity management, deposits, FX related business.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the preparation of business plans, internal reports/reviews and administrative communications.
  • Prepare regular reports on transaction banking activities, including transaction volumes, revenues and client feedback. Working with cross-functional teams.
  • Collate monthly, quarterly and annual performance monitoring statistics and ensure RMs provide timely updates.
  • Collect departmental business data and regular analysis to provide insights.
  • Work closely with other business support functions, risk management and compliance teams to maintain a cohesive and efficient working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures applicable to the conduct of the business in which the Jobholder is involved, including working closely with other departments, primarily middle and back office.
  • Manage a demanding and reactive workload in a responsive manner to assist the department in meeting key objectives and external regulatory requirements.

To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience and skills:

  • Fluency in Mandarin – Essential
  • Professional experience in a corporate banking, Fintech, corporate treasury related industry preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player, strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Diligence (attention to detail) and high productivity.
  • An ability to learn, adapt quickly and work under pressure, as well as to work digitally and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of transaction banking products and related services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.
