A great opportunity exists for a highly analytical and business-oriented Strategic Finance Business Analyst to join our client, a leading global FMCG business. The successful candidate will actively support projects from a Supply Finance perspective, while also contributing towards key company priority projects that shape the manufacturing footprint and drive real business impact.

About the Role:

As a Strategic Finance Business Analyst, you will be required to support other Global Supply Finance activities centered around Reporting, Planning & Forecasting, Performance management, and Capital evaluations. Your role will involve working closely with multiple stakeholders to identify and enact process improvements, driving business growth through financial insights, and utilizing your analytical skills to inform business decisions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide analytical and business-oriented support to various projects within the Supply Finance function.
  2. Contribute to the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that measure business success.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance business efficiency.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  5. Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and propose solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  6. Analyze data to provide actionable insights that inform business decisions.
  7. Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement financial models that support business growth.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Strategic Finance Business Analyst with a strong background in supply chain finance, analytics, and business operations. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. A proven track record of driving business growth and process improvements is essential.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an analytical and business-oriented role within a supply chain function.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment and with large datasets.
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to show the bigger picture.
  • Positive teammate with a desire to challenge and drive improvement.

What We Offer:

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including a generous bonus scheme, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
