Production Process Operative

Müller UK & Ireland is a leading dairy company with a strong presence in Europe. Our Bridgwater Dairy is a key part of our Müller Milk & Ingredients business, and we are seeking a skilled Production Process Operative to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the raw milk intake, fresh milk processing, cream processing, cream export reclaim area, and chemical offload area. This will involve checking and recording relevant paperwork, sampling and testing raw products, loading tankers, and liaising with other production departments.

As a Production Process Operative, you will also be responsible for operating equipment and processes effectively, including asset care, maximising output, adherence to plan, waste reduction, and cost savings. You will work closely with our quality assurance team to ensure that all products meet our high standards.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience in quality assurance and manufacturing, preferably in a food environment. If you have a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering high-quality products, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the smooth running of the raw milk intake, fresh milk processing, cream processing, cream export reclaim area, and chemical offload area
  • Check and record relevant paperwork
  • Sample and test raw products
  • Load tankers
  • Liaise with other production departments
  • Operate equipment and processes effectively
  • Work closely with quality assurance team to ensure high-quality products
Requirements:
  • Quality assurance experience
  • Manufacturing experience in a food environment
  • Production experience in a food environment
