About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Gas Safety Specialist to join our maintenance team at Trecco Bay Holiday Park in Porthcawl, Wales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe installation and maintenance of gas appliances throughout our holiday home fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gas Installation and Maintenance: You will complete all gas installation testing in accordance with current legislation and ensure the safe installation of new gas appliances such as boilers, ovens, and fires.
  • Guest Relations: You will build positive relationships with our guests to resolve queries and minimize disruption to their stay.
  • Breakdown Response: You will respond promptly to any breakdowns or urgent issues affecting our holiday homes.
  • Training and Development: You will assist in upskilling our maintenance team by providing training on gas safety.
  • Record-Keeping: You will maintain accurate records of all jobs completed using our company system.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • LPG Qualification: You must possess a valid LPG qualification and have experience working with gas plumbing and fitting.
  • Gas Safety Knowledge: You must have a thorough understanding of gas safety regulations and best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for building positive relationships with our guests and colleagues.
